Fraser's Hill 22-23 August 2020

It was a planned overnight trip to bring my friend up to Fraser's Hill. A first time birder and just trying to get know the activity. So in my heart this was suppose to be a easy birding and I don't expect to get much. Well I ended up with not much but his quality bird.

One of the interesting bird we nailed this time around was the Malayan Whistling Thrush which we observed together with the Malayan Hill Partridge. I was amaze the bird actually not far from us and on the same view of the binocular we have both species in it.

Anyway some other interesting species we see was the Red Headed Trogon. We got both male and female.

A Sultan Tit make its way for a view as well.

Streaked Wren Babbler was nice and this was easily done.

Not to forget some commoner such as this Javan Cuckooshrike do make its way in to our list.

Some species that we miss was the Silver Eared Mesia. Whole hill with none of this species seen. We did manage to see this. Other interesting species such as the Large Scimitar Babbler and so on was not bad. Now im thinking for another trip up.
