This species was one of the easiest Wern Babbler I have seen. Out of that it always take more effort. However today a pair came close and stay close enough for me to take some shot. In the open targeting them through my scope is much easier. The Streaked Wern Babbler can be observed up in Most montane forest. However during some of my survey work deep Perak lowland I find a small population that that have colonize the lowland in Perak area. This population is very rare and very restricted to only small area in the forest.
In recent survey up in the highland, a few nest in two location was discovered. In the same time a Snowy-Browed Flycatcher nest was also observed in one on this location. Last update was another pair beginning to built nest just near by the first dicovery. An Interesting discovery in deed. We should move forward and observed them more but I'm sure I can't be the one there. Hopefully someone can continue to observed this species.
