Nature Core Raptor Research Unit - Blyth's Hawk Eagle

It will be a week again and other were not free to check it out. So I decided since no one else can go I go for this week again before leaving for my bird tour tomorrow. Details collected today were great and tremendous achievement. I manage to document some similarity in timing entering the nest for the female today as for my other nest nation wide. Many nest show some of similarity in timing and same goes to this bird. I was very happy to further confirmed this observation. Nevertheless today I manage to take more video which will be uploaded next week when I come back from tour as promise and also lot of photo. Mist were not favouring to me but still provide me some observation opportunistic. Adult were seen perching on the same tree and now soon went into the nest. No feeding but the eaglet were very pleased to have mummy back besides her.

In the eaglet observation, tiny feather and pin feather are already visible. Some part of wing and scapular showing distinctively black patch showing feather have been growing as well. The eaglet was also moving more then usual. Today she was observed to move around adn along the side of the nest but no alarm as she went back resting after a while.

To add on a group of Spectacle Leaf Monkey arrive to a tree nearby but it does not seem to provoke the adult or or the eaglet. Both seem to be very sure that the Leaf Monkey were no harm to them. Today however dad is still not around. Mum seem to get uneasy and left probably for hunting.
