Chui Chak December 2023

Together with WBCM we make a trip to Chui Chak in hope to see some migratory raptor. Headed there early in the morning the place was filled with fog. The environment make it fun with raptor flying like ghost.

Some of the early bird was not a raptor but rather a Wood Sandpiper.

Soon was our first harrier. A Pied Harrier female was observed.

Another species of harrier observed this trip was the Eastern Marsh Harrier.

Some resident species such as the Black Shouldered Kite. This individual was observed with nesting material.

One of the species we are looking for which is the Greater Spotted Eagle

Last but not least one Little Cormorant was kind enough to stood near enough for us to take some photograph.
