Raptor ID - Harrier
Lets try out this one. Based on the description on the two earlier post this should be easy. This bird was identified differently in field and was later re-identified. What can it be?
DISCUSSION
Yes this again is an Eastern Marsh Harrier (EMH). You can see the underbody marking does not extend to lower part of the body and the flight feather does not show are marking especially in secondaries.
This is age at 2nd calender year in some of the respond. bill structure more massive and strongly built.barring on outer primaries flight feather are typical in EMH as well.
