Understanding Raptor - Rufous Bellied-Eagle (part 3 in flight)

An adult in flight is rather easy to tell a part from other species. Underwing covert are all rufous in colour. Underpart rufous with white throat and fine black streaking mainly in between rufous and white throat. Upperpart all blackish with black cap. A very easy species to tell a part from other. Though the juvenile can be a huge challange and probably confuse with other species. That perhaps will be in other post. Below are picture of adult flying.

  2. Keep an eye out!!! they are not really rare. but in non migrating season they are rather uncommon.

Our team will be making a publication on this soon. It will include where to start searching for this species.
