Pahang - Blue-Crowned Hanging Parrot

Hanging-Parrot is actually one of my favourite. Though this photo never show why it was name as Hanging-parrot but the name suggest that they hang upside down a lot too. Having it is green it sometimes not easy to pick up but being noisy it does give out its location easily. To me this species is rather charismatic. Having only 3 native parrot in P.Malaysia, this remain one of the easiest to spot. I even have it in front of my house once.
