Pahang - Great Slaty Woodpecker

Great Slaty Woodpecker the largest woodpecker ans South East Asia and also in Malaysia. This species is rather sort after by many and though many seen it photographing one is not easy. Same goes to this one. Keep up in the canopy on one of the worse lighting for me. Nevertheless since this is my photography lifer I try my luck anyway. In my most sighting this bird are always in pair or in small group of at least 3. Today a pair one male and a female was observed. Picture of male taken and also a video can be seen here. Hopefully can get a batter photo of this bird in future.
