Parit Jawa & Sungai Balang 23-24 July 2022

 It was actually a friend wedding but being me I do take some opportunity to do some birding in this two location. Having been to Parit Jawa for the first time I was sort of excited. Yes! first time. :)

Immediately we saw some Lesser Adjutant in there. This location being one of the easiest to spot this bird.  Easiest? hmm and very close too. I try not to leave some opportunity to the waste. 

This place seem to be fun for the Asian Glossy Starling as well. They some in near to the jetty with individual of different age. While photographing them become a challenge due to the close distance they did make a good subject this time around.

The other location we visited were Sungai Balang. I must be honest this was another exiting as the report of govinda black kite have been sighted. Unfortunately while I did manage to observed the bird, I did not manage to get any photo.

Still some early migrant such as this Barn Swallow.

Some bird were having a great weekend with family too. Such as this Purple Swamphen with 3 young bird.

A marching group of Lesser Treeduck...

Well- The duck go marching two by two hurrah hurrah!!

In all it was an exiting trip. I cant wait for our next adventure but hopefully this time around will be as exciting.
