Sungai Buloh Sasaran

 This is a locality where one of the jewel in the country can be purchased, the "Black Pearl". They are not exactly pearl but crockle. One of the highest priced in black market however in recent year this remain a hard harvest for the local fisherman. Pray for them to have a better harvest as time move on.

Nevertheless the location here remain on of the frequently visited area by me for me to sit around and not doing much. Knowing the local people help us more. We even get a boat ride from here. :)

Birding in this location have been great with some excitement including Great Tit nest and Sunda Pgymy Woodpecker. The surrounding area remain poorly understood but we did saw a adjutant nest many years back while on boat trip. These days the location are also frequently visited by Painted Stork. 

Older sighting in the area including 2 Spot Billed Pelican. Hey hey not bad. I only saw it flying while some other saw it swimming around. 

In anyway this sighting in 2015 result in some Grey Heron.

Brahminy Kite

A small group of House Swallow. 

All in all is a location with good chance to nailed some good bird provide one have the patient in this place. We have seen some Bridled Tern in this location when the time is right, though this remain not a very common sight. The off shore here have resulted in Sooty Tern. Uniquely only juvenile was sighted. Not leaving out other pelagic in this location including the Shearwater and Jeager. At least I'm sure there were Long Tailed Jeager around. :)
