FRIM visit with WBCM 25 March 2023
Firstly I must say it was a great trip and I believe everyone was hoping for a Masked Finfoot. We started off with normal bird such as the White-Throated Kingfisher and some crow. But we soon have a good view of the Stripe-Throated Bulbul.
Some woodpecker make its way into our list with 2 species was photograph. Banded Woodpecker
Buff-Necked Woodpecker. I admit this species I have not seen a while now.
The place was rather full with Asian Brown Flycatcher. One stood at eye level for some digiscope shot.
Barbet species of barbet such as the Yellow Crowned Barbet, Blue Eared Barbet was heard and later seen. I only manage to photograph one very distance Gold Whiskered Barbet
One of our excitement today was the Rufous Bellied Eagle. This one was already in more advance plumage. Interestingly it stood is less unwanted area for photography. Still all of us try to get some shot of it. :)
