Sekinchan Ricefield

I drop by Sekinchan recently with the hope to get some interesting migrant. In my heart a Bunting. Well I need to settle with something more common for the area. The asian openbill

Well I must be honest that not all the Paddyfield you will yield a Rhinoceros Hornbilll. This was one of the unique point here. Nevertheless I must say the Hornbill was using the Smallholder Palm Oil plot at the side of the paddyfield.

Sekinchan being one of the country raptor hotspot is actually good for both migrant and local. Even for migratory raptor on passage. Not too forget that I saw the Pallid Harrier here.

Today we hit the Changeable Hawk Eagle.

Tern are not unusual sight in this Paddyfield however today there is only the Whiskered Tern but the consolation of breeding plumage.
