Taman Botany Shah Alam

It was raining in the morning and we all sort of getting lazy to get our ass up and go. I was telling myself if the rain don't stop I will just sleep. But it stop anyway. Since it was already late in the term birding time we ended u having breakfast before going into the site.

It was very quiet morning with the only usual thing we hear and see was the Long Tailed Parakeet. First to come into photography view was the Changeable Hawk Eagle. This one presumably female was sighted calling in flight.

While walking most of the time we still yet to get any good bird. Some bulbul such as Red Eye Bulbul flew pass us and we were hoping for more photography opportunity. Our chances started with the Orange Breasted Flowerpecker.

Later was this nesting pair of the Striped Throated Bulbul. The pair was wandering low near ground level foraging for food.

Last but not least while resting beside the lake this Purple Heron come into view. Another individual quickly come in and started chasing the earlier one away. The excitement come with some photography opportunity as let's say it was amazing to see them.

Some other species heard and/or seen such as the Banded Woodpecker, Striped Tit Babbler and Hill Myna were present in the morning walk.
