Taman Botany Shah Alam 25 September 2022

It was raining the whole morning and I was at the point to say lets cancel and continue to sleep. Nevertheless some sign weather was improving and it does. So both of us pack up and went to the place. We did not arrived early as we hope for so some breakfast first before entering is not bad.

On the entrance area we got this lone Pink Necked Green Pigeon in the area. Video below

Moving on we were greeted by many other bird. Rather good number of Amur Paradise Flycatcher, Little spider hunter and many more. Some young bird such as this Red Eyed Bulbul juvenile moving around with adult.

Striped Tit Babbler or also know now as Pin striped Tit Babbler was also around.

Together with the babbler were the Dark Throated Tailorbird.

Sighting for raptor was not bad either with Crested Serpent Eagle and Changeable Hawk Eagle. However both did not provide good photographic opportunity. As both of us are looking for more than bird here are also some of the none bird sighting of the butterfly.

The Malayan Viscount

The Common Palmfly

The Mottled Bush Brown.

Well this is one of the case where we were expecting the worse but hoping for the best and got the best. :)
