Taman Botani Shah Alam
Birding with some close friend is always nice. This time around I decided to go out with some friendly senior to Taman Botani Shah Alam. A trip full of excitement and many lifer for some other. One of the first bird we were looking at were this Blue Crowned Hanging Parrot. A small group of them flying around the area. Some perch and some come closer feeding.
A small population of Great Myna (previously called white vented myna) do make its round here. However the small population was only 3 bird this time.
On the way out, Scaly Breasted Munia family group making thier round drinking and feeding on some grass seed.
4 Pacific Swallow perch by. Although a common bird most of us tried to take some photo on it as well.
Some other species sighted today
Yellow Rumped Flycatcher
1 individual were sighted presumably female.
Green Back Flycatcher
1 female observed. White wing patch without bar was observed.
Blyth's Paradise Flycatcher
1 female was observed feeding with Asian Brown Flycatcher
Oriental Honey Buzzard
A small flock was observed migrating pass the area. One was observed perched in the morning
Chinese Sparrowhawk
a flock of approximately 6 was observed enrolee southward.
