Wader Watching MY11 1 October 2020
Well I thought this maybe my time to get a Spoonbilled Sandpiper but nah not this time. Anyway we headed in a 2 man trip to this location in MY11 in search for a wader. Tough trip today as the tide come in around mid day and we are all mainly toast still we push on for it. Greeting us on the site were this Common Redshank.
With red Green is not left out too. This is the Common Greenshank.
it is like dejavu when I saw this 2 Asian Dowitcher. I have very similar scene in my Perak wader watching trip.
Anyway Lesser Sand Plover is never a miss in this site.
Whimbrel and curlew are also in our list. Curlew were too far for my scope to reach so settle with the Whimbrel instead.
A Lesser Adjutant perch nearby with many along the coastal tidal zone.
Small flock of Pacific Golden Plover with no sign of Grey Plover
And it was nice to be greeted by this Terek Sandpiper as well. A great trip in deed. Some of the bird we saw in the list below
