Mangrove Pitta

A pitta that restricted to mangrove. Nevertheless there was never a relocation programme for this species. How unfortunate. However this restricted area home to many pair of which also home to many non breeding pair. Considering how easy to locate an individual but there never much suitable breeding location left. Hopefully thing will change in future.

This one in picture we were all preparing for it to come out in the undergrowth but it headed up into the canopy. AARRR not ready with camera set up.
