Golden Orb Weaver
The Golden Orb Weaver a magnificent large spider with enormous web. Once i discover one web with at least 3 meter across and 2 meter in height. This web was placed over a river. Nevertheless as creepy as they is this species is not rare. They can be seen and found in many forest edge. Places with recreation forest where river is flowing through is a best place to look for them. I have seen them in almost every forest nearby to KL. Find this spider is not the best thing I got this time around. Seing one feeding technically sucking the juice out was just amazing. To make today trip more interesting i got a new insect that got caught in the web. The Orb Weaver hunting instinct took over immediately to make that kill. The whole scenario was amazing. Though i have seen this a few time, sight like this was still amazing. Enjoy the few shot below of this Orb Weaver.
